QUOTE OF THE WEEK

"Hard choices, easy life. Easy choices, hard life." – Jerzy Gregorek

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Wanted: Partner(s)

This week marks a first for the Circle of Competence Podcast - a sponsorship inquiry. Lately, I’ve been mulling over what my goals are for the Circle of Competence podcast going forward. In essence, what is the podcast's raison d’etre?

I always thought of the podcast as a way to learn from sharp, like-minded people investing in and operating in the private real estate and SMB space - the scrappy operator-investors. The conversations I have had so far have been incredibly fun, highly educational, and most importantly, with people that I admire.

I want to connect with more entrepreneurs and investors, publish more conversations weekly, and publicize each one more widely.

But my biggest constraint is time - I only have 24 hours in a day.

So, I'm looking for a partner who is interested in the private investment space, someone who is hungry to learn, someone who is interested in growing a podcast and an audience around what I call the 'entrepreneurial investment space'.

Is there someone out there who would be interested in growing a podcast / media business focused around exploring the entrepreneurial investor space (RE, Tech, SMB)?

Perhaps.

If there were, I’d ask four questions:

- What do you think the Circle of Competence podcast could be if you were leading the charge?

- What topics interest you the most in private business?

- Why would we be great partners?

- How would you grow the podcast's audience?

If that someone is you, send me a note at bentonmoss3@gmail.com that answers these questions. I’d welcome your thoughts and a conversation to explore possibilities around ownership and growing together.

If there isn’t anyone out there that fits the bill, well, I’ll continue to do what I’ve always done: read, write, and produce. I never set out to actually make money from my blogging and conversational efforts. My goal has always been and always will be to explore, learn, and share.

With the right partner, however, I believe our efforts could be worth far more than a sum of the parts.
