#173 - Ukraine: A Tipping Point?

I have been thinking about a question the past two weeks since Russia invaded Ukraine and am torn between two alternatives: Should NATO declare a no-fly zone?


On the one hand, there is the case that strangling financial sanctions will choke off Russia's ability to wage war (see Scott Galloway's case below) and declaring a no-fly zone risks a nuclear escalation. On the other hand, there are many that believe that Ukraine is just phase I of a broader consolidation of power behind a Russia-China Eastern Front that must be dealt with swiftly to prevent further conflicts from spreading westward.
